Introduction to ISU System
Introduction to General System Troubleshooting for Central Control Lock System Troubleshooting for Courtesy Lamp System Troubleshooting for Window Regulator System Troubleshooting for theft-deterrent Control Module System
Outline Characteristics The automobile theft-deterrent control system integrates the theft-deterrent device, the electric doors and windows as well as the central lock control module to perform the centralized monitoring. When the lock button on the remote control is pressed, the central control lock system is locked into the lock catch. When the system enters an alarm state, the glass windows of devices and doors will rise automatically to avoid that the user forgets to close them, which will facilitate users use so that they need not worry about rain, wind and theft, etc. Theft-deterrent by remote control This theft-deterrent by remote control adopts the dual-key style: one key for deterrent setting, the other for release; deterrent-setting state: When the first key on the remote control is pressed, the automobile clearance lamp flickers once and the central control lock is locked automatically. At the same time, the engine is locked; the LED flickers slowly; and the display system is in a deterrent state. If the system is triggered, the clearance lamp will flicker and the alarm speaker will give an alarm; Release of deterrent setting: When the second key on the remote control is pressed, the clearance lamp flickers twice and the central control lock is unlocked. At the same time, the engine lock is released and the LED indicator blacks out; Deterrent release by two steps: When the system is in a triggered state, the alarm sound can stop by pressing any key on the remote control, with the system in a deterrent state and the door still locked; if the system receives any further invasion signal, the alarm will be given out after a short pause. To release the deterrent totally, the second key should be pressed once immediately after the deterrent is released for the first time;
Theft-deterrent Functions by Remote Control Theft-deterrent by remote control This theft-deterrent by remote control adopts the dual-key style: one key for deterrent setting, the other for release; deterrent-setting state: When the first key on the remote control is pressed, the automobile clearance lamp flickers once and the central control lock is locked automatically. At the same time, the engine is locked; the LED flickers slowly; and the display system is in a deterrent state. If the system is triggered, the clearance lamp will flicker and the alarm speaker will give an alarm; Release of deterrent setting: When the second key on the remote control is pressed, the clearance lamp flickers twice and the central control lock is unlocked. At the same time, the engine lock is released and the LED indicator blacks out; Deterrent release by two steps: When the system is in a triggered state, the alarm sound can be stopped by pressing any key on the remote control, with the system in a deterrent state and the door still locked; if the system receives any further invasion signal, the alarm will be given out after a short pause. To release the deterrent totally, the second key should be pressed once immediately after the deterrent is released for the first time;
Functions
Theft-deterrent again: If both door and ignition switch are not turned on within 30 seconds after the deterrent is released, the theftdeterrent device will restore its deterrent state automatically and lock the door; Auto-locking/unlocking function: The door will be locked automatically 5 seconds later after the ignition switch is turned on and be unlocked automatically after the ignition switch is turned off. If the door is opened within 5 seconds after the ignition switch is turned on, the system will not be locked automatically in order to avoid that the driver is kept out of his/her automobile; Window closing by remote control: If the glass windows are not closed at the deterrent state, the glass window regulator will function automatically to lift the glass windows to the ceiling in turn for work;

Problem Detection Is it attributed to the damaged remote control or the module? 1 Test the remote control first
To replace it for a mechanical damage To match (in two kinds of methods) If it is still failed, please inspect and detect the power earth of fuse module If it is still failed (check whether other functions of the module are normal), please replace the module
Is the failed central control lock is attributed to the left front cotter or the module? Pull the pull rod by hand to test its flexibility and control it with the remote control. If both are Ok, please inspect and detect the triggering connection from the cotter to the module. If the connection is normal, the problem consists in the cotter. If it is normal to pull the pull rod but it is failed to control it with the remote control, please check whether the remote control is normal (refer to the previous steps); otherwise, replace the module.

Troubles
Trouble phenomena After the engine runs, the water temperature rises, but the pointer of water temperature indicator doesn't give any indication. 2) Trouble causes (1) Damaged water temperature indicator (2) Failed water temperature sensor (3) Open circuit of water temperature indicator (4) Trouble in the instrument unit
Troubleshooting
Pull out the water temperature sensor connector to check whether the circuit is open between the jack of water temperature sensor connector (yellow/red wire) and the jack 23 of combination instrument connector. If the above circuit is normal, please check whether the yellow/red wire of water temperature sensor connector is electriferous. In case it is electriferous, it indicates that the water temperature sensor is damaged; if it is not electriferous, it indicates that there is a trouble in the water temperature indicator itself or the instrument unit.
Definition of Circuit Open circuit: The current circuit is interrupted at a certain point in the circuit. After an open circuit occurs, one or more electric loads can not function any longer in the circuit. Short circuit: The load is bypassed accidentally. The current always pass through the circuit with the smallest resistance, so a short circuit will induce higher current so as to heat the protective devices or the connecting wires in the circuit Earth: The earth state is similar to the short circuit state under which one loaded current is bypassed accidentally in the circuit. The difference consists in the direct connection with the power cathode via the frame earth circuit at the time of earth.
