Los Tractores de Cadenas D6R de la Serie II tienen sistemas hidráulicos LS/PC, detección de carga y compensación de presión, en los que se usan una bomba hidráulica de caudal variable de pistones y válvulas de control de operación piloto de centro cerrado. Los Tractores de Cadenas D6R de la Serie II se pueden equipar con embragues y frenos o dirección diferencial de control con la punta de los dedos o dirección diferencial. La figura 2.4.1 muestra el sistema hidráulico del implemento en los Tractores de Cadenas D6R de la Serie II equipados con dirección diferencial. Si el aceite está por debajo de una temperatura específica o si se presentan sobrecargas sobr ecargas de flujo, f lujo, se abre abr e una válvula v álvula de derivación der ivación al enfriador de aceite y se envía flujo adicional de aceite directamente al tanque. En las válvulas de control se origina una tubería de señal. La tubería de señal pasa a través de cada cuerpo de la válvula antes de llegar a la válvula compensadora de la bomba. Cuando el operador activa uno o más implementos, las cargas resultantes generan señales de presión en el orificio de trabajo. Una red de resolvedores envía la mayor presión del orificio de trabajo a la válvula compensadora de la bomba. Las máquinas de dirección diferencial tienen una válvula individual de caída rápida para ambos cilindros de levantamiento. La válvula de caída rápida suministra aceite de compensación al extremo de la cabeza de los cilindros de levantamiento. La válvula de caída rápida ayuda a controlar la subida y la bajada a velocidades lentas de caída rápida y bajada con funciones de presión baja del topador.

Los tractores con dirección diferencial no tienen embragues de dirección, pero sí diferencial de dirección, una bomba hidráulica, un motor de dirección hidráulica y controles de dirección. El diferencial de dirección tiene dos entradas de potencia: una de velocidad y sentido de marcha (AVANCE y RETROCESO) desde la transmisión y una de la transmisión transmisión (IZQUIERDA y DERECHA) desde el motor hidráulico de dirección. El diferencial de dirección usa la entrada de potencia del motor hidráulico para aumentar la velocidad de una cadena e, igualmente, disminuir la velocidad de la otra cadena. La figura 2.4.8 muestra la válvula de la bomba y del compensador del tractor D6R II con dirección diferencial. Antes de encender el motor, el vástago y el resorte del accionador pequeño mantienen la plancha basculante b asculante de la bomba en el ángulo máximo. A medida que la bomba comienza a girar, el aceite fluye al múltiple de entrada en las válvulas superpuestas, al extremo izquierdo del pistón accionador pequeño, al extremo izquierdo del carrete de margen y a la cámara del pistón del extremo derecho del carrete de corte.
