I’m a passionate architect from Bologna, I just graduated from the university IUAV of Venice. I'm interested in the investigation of form coming from the discovery a nd the research inside the force fields, complexity and non-linear processes. I'm very fascinated by form research, its technology and materials. My interests are music, art, philosophy, cooking, chemestry, biology and interweaving, all categories that are apparently distant.

Tripode is a pendant lamp defined by three lightning sources arrayed around a central node forming 120° between each piece. The three LED stripes are anchored anchored to a skeleton that is connected to an articulated terminal equipped with a spherical hinge that allows a rotation of 70° as well as a torsion around its axe. These rotations permits to modulate the light from a closed conformation with a diameter of 20 cm to the extended position where the light cylinders cover a diameter diameter of about 60 cm. The whole object is covered with a flexible rubber that functions like a skin layer, to protect the internal components and to create a continuous surface. The main body can be removed for a versatile use, transforming it into a table lamp if anchored to a specific stand or into a wireless lamp, thanks to a built-in rechargeable battery.

The project Recurs(h)ive II takes advantage of the extraordinary natural surrounding to saturate the site with a highly dynamic structure. The building stretches over the site boundaries adapting its geometry to the topography of the Peak to expose the dwellings to the breathtaking views. The articulation of the proposal is based on an adaptive hexagonal structure that forms a dense settlement within the site boundaries. The hexagons profilefate on three levels following following the topographic contour of the peak. Each unit is formed by a supporting column providing vertical support to the articulation of the floor slabs and the roof. These tree-like columns are also providing the development with all the necessary mechanical and electric services. These vertical supports allow for the freeing of the ground level of the building where a communal landscape area, parking and outdoor leisure facilities are located. The spatial organizational strategy allow for an array of spatial conditions that start from the intimate private unit, to outdoor private balconies; from communal plateau to the semi-public ground floor, all the way to the use of outdoor landscaping facilities.

TEAM WORK
The articulation of its volumes, the proportions and its height establish a critical and yet interesting dialogue with the surrounding buildings in the attempt to reconnect the chaotic nature of the site within one coherent synthetic gesture. The entire mass of the new library is split into four distinctive volumes of approximately the same footprint of the adjacent low-rise urban plots. This organisation offers a clear visual and volumetric connection with the scale of the adjacent adjacent building and provides a welcoming and inclusive new structure for the local community. These four bodies are distinct and separate at ground floor where an inclusive public space is articulated as an extension of the local public garden. The internal spiral organisation facilitates the navigation throughout the building and provides spectacular views between levels. The different functions of the building, while connected with the spiralling circulatory ramp, are placed at the four corner of the building in correspondence with the free standing volumes: there a more intimate and quite space provides the ideal set for reading and studying.

HORTUS (Hydro Organisms Responsive To Urban Stimuli) is a new exhibition from ecoLogicStudio that engages with the notions of urban renewable energy and agriculture through a new gardening prototype. Over a four-week growing period, flows of energy (light radiation), matter (biomass, carbon dioxide) and information (images, tweets, stats) will be triggered to induce multiple mechanisms of self-regulation and evolve novel forms of self-organisation. HORTUS proposes an experimental hands-on engagement with these notions, illustrating their potential applicability to the masterplanning of large regional landscapes and the retrofitting of industrial and rural architectural types, as exemplified in the project ‘Regional Algae Farm’ developed by ecoLogicStudio for the Swedish region of Osterlen. AA students, staff and visitors are invited to engage daily with HORTUS to invent new protocols of urban biogardening. A virtual organism such as this offers the opportunity to capture and build up information and cultivation practices, enriching the material experience of the visitor turned urban ‘cyber-gardener’.

Human specie has always engineered the environment to set the conditions or its own settlement, producing in its evolutionary development superorganisms (cities) and the necessary networks o connections amongthem. Instead o rejecting cars as an extraneous object to a picturesque nature, this project starts rom a perspective in which cities and technology are the metabolic extension o human specie and thereore a necessary part o its own nature; the vessels (vehicles) or human transportation, or better, the vehicle-host symbiotic system thus becomes a necessary part o human ecology, and so the network o connections upon which they live, operate and interact with: inrastructures. The project o an environmental enhancer or the Nogara mare highway in Veneto (Italy) provides the unique chance to bring together ecological thinking, host interaction and active materials. Its location (an open country planar area among cultivated felds) enucleates as critical variables the impact o pollutants and the phenomenon o dazzling. With respect to such criticalities, the project uses digital generative and parametric strategies to generate a perormative structure in which densifcation and rareaction o elements is a local morphological response to dazzle. The structure itsel acts as a scaold or a photo catalytic PET based material that, mimicking the behavior o coccoluti (marine microorganisms) is able to reduce CO2 (and potentially other pollutants) to salts and nitrates that are then naturally deployed to the neighboring cultivated felds as ertilizers. The material has been tested or photo catalytic integration and is currently under development. Present building and production techniques privilege the industrial assembly o inert materials, with a one-way ow o energy and process rom raw material to fnished product. Instead o this mono-directional energy consumption the project promotes the continuous exchange o inormation (as code and matter-energy) at all levels and rom the digital to the material domains: use o dazzle inormation, morphogenetic rules and structural behavior to generate the scaold, a photo catalytic material that responds to pollutants and produces ertilizers, making the structure symbiotic with their hosts and the environment.

GLARE a strong, dazzling light that may cause discomfort to the eye. Visual problems that result from glare often involve inadequate lighting conditions; they particularly affect individuals with cataracts or other disease conditions. A visual condition in which the observer feels either discomfort and/or exhibits a lower performance in visual test. This is produced by a relatively bright source of light within the visual field. A given bright light may or may not produce glare depending upon the location and intensity of the light source, the background luminance, the state of adaptation of the eye or the clarity of the GLARE

CHEMESTRY RESEARCH the main effects the PM10 toxicity are paid by the breathing apparatus and the outstanding factor for the analysis of the effects is the particles' dimension, that is responsable for the penentration into the apparatus. the harmful effects of PM10 are due to its physical and chemical properties; indeed, the particulate is made up of a series of substances with toxological effects (acid substances, metals, PAHs, endotoxin and other organic compounds), which are verified by several studies. PM10 pollution causes short and long-run harmulf effects; the first are more acute, while the second one are PM10 TOXICITY

The eye is, in itself, a poor organ for vision: while our peripheral vision feeds our brain with a general but blurred image, our ability to perceive the details is limited to the narrow fovea (the only part of the retina that permits 100% visual acuity) in the eye's retina. Vision is then a matter of unconscious inferences: making assumptions and conclusions from incomplete data, based on previous experiences.
Alessio Erioli co-de-it.com Andrea Graziano co-de-it.com Davide del Giudice co-de-it.com Alessandro Zomparelli sketchesofcode.wordpress.com Mirco Bianchini interwovenlandscape.blogspot.com
Thriving on these defaults, the installation works on a v arying range of perceptive and affective scales: the convolutions of the overall shape, generated from the simulated material behavior, cause an inferential reaction on the observer by showing an incomplete set of information about the general shape itself, which contours furthermore vibrate for the complexity of the component. This inference and the inability to perceive the details trigger an attractive process, but the complexity of the component detail can be appreciated only at a scale where the perception of the whole is lost; rolling backwards, it becomes clear that the effect of the whole is more than just the sum of the constituent parts. The installation doesn't embed a specific meaning or direct/indirect intentional metaphor about what has to be discovered or the discovery as a process, rather it is an experiment (or proof of concept) on how morphology, organization, material systems and patterns have the ability to trigger dynamic behavioral effects and interaction in space and time. Complexity is engaged on the level of articulating excess and exuberance as systems where form, space, material and ornament create an intricate elegance on a perceptual scale gradient.
