Essay
Didactical materials are one of the basic elements in language teaching process! the teacher must pay special attention to every element he will use on his class to help contents and students to achieve their purpose. 0owever! material design must follow some specific teaching approach to accomplish some specific language need in a proper way previously designed by teachers! its very important that both content and teaching process follow the same theoretical line regarding learning processes! this is because if contents are targeted in one way but all other elements involved in the teaching process follow a different path! learning itself can become a pu$$le instead a directed process. Its not that a specific approach or techni+ue must be followed to get success in the process! but to follow the same path! or at least! concordant paths when directing students minds into one concept. If very opposite approaches meet in one class it can lead to a disaster when analy$ing students affective filter regarding comfortability with contents and their perception of comprehensible input. This last is very important because students need to be well aware that input they are receiving follows some pattern! almost all different approaches of language teaching and learning have their own point of view about any topic we can imagine! its very important to understand that students mental map of concepts in english and almost any assignature is completely controlled by teachers in our educational system where teacher1student roles are basically based on a traditional method (magisterial classes). Thats why teachers need to be aware of what are they looking for every time they expose their students to a specific language learning material so they can determine which approach is the best to explain the concepts to their specific educative community! by having into account their learning styles! previous knowledge! language learning needs! and so on2 effectiveness of contents will be highly determined by a correct approach choice in the elaboration process by teachers! institutions or any directive entit y.
