EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The service offered will be for game players to have a unique experience of playing video games on world class facilities. The target group of customers is children, youths, adults and anyone who is interested in leisure and video games. According to Pakistani Games, the potential for game industry in Pakistan is very impressive countries that are playing computer games. Game Corner plans for a strong market entrance by offering up to date versions of games such as the ones of Play Stations, XBox, PSP, Nintendo Wii, etc., the company will entertain users with the best video gaming experience possible and a facility which is impossible to be recreated at home. The facility shall have other games such as arcade games, shooting games, strategy games, sport games, adventurous games, etc., with single and multiplayer options.

OBJECTIVES

Kings gaming zone projections for the first year are: 







To get a minimum of 1500 customers in first year, and 3000 customers maximum of operation. To establish a convenient payment means for ou r customers through various options when they subscribe to our packages such as for 30 minutes package, 1 hour package, 5 hours package for gaming. To have a world class game playing facilities in the city of Karachi, with future bright expansion to other potential cities like Lahore Islamabad. To be the leader and pioneer of game playing facility in GULSHAN E HADEED and whole of Karachi.

IDENTIFY THE NEED

According to game user we know that many people playing games at their home but there is still a need for a dedicated game sport place where customers can have access to playing in type of games with very best interactive features. There are big games that can’t be installed and played at home, while other games require extremely high internet bandwidth to function. Kings gaming zone will offer all these possibilities under one roof. Below are some of the problems that home game players currently face according to our Survey.  









Regular game crashes caused by unstable systems. Games wear out computer systems because they intensively consume memory and CPU therefore people need to do regular changes in computer components. Game players need to do regular software updates for the computers to enable them to support variety of games. Most games are still not compatible, this demands game pla yers to have a good understanding of what things need to be installed in order to play specific games. Most online games that support interactions need a huge internet bandwidth, not all game players can afford to have access to high speed internet in their homes. Most game players can’t find regular competitor to play game with due to different responsibilities that each person has to do in their life.

TARGET MARKET

While this plan identifies the customer as a typical 15-year-old, we know that younger people are the primary consumers of sports activities, including video games. There will be an aggressive plan to target the young adults between 16 to 20-years-old that are able to drive themselves to the facility. We are giving so many facilities that cater to the young students of the College. It is our belief that these young adults and students would also become game users. The other age group people also include because any age group people likes to play games so our secondary users are above 20 years old.

MARKET SEGMENTS

Younger people are the primary consumers of sports activities, including laser tag. The typical customer is a 15-year-old boy who visits the game center twice a month the average video game patron, also 15 years old, visits gaming zone many times per month This customer accounts for about 10% of video game revenue The usual walk-in is a 19 year old, who are regular customers, who is taking advantage of a promotional coupon. These walk-ins generate about 30% of the center’s revenue and 20% of its video game revenue. Each of these typical customers can be reached through marketing targeted at them. There are enough members of these market segments in our area to support king’s Game Zone center. The adults players are other 40% revenue generate by playing games at our place.

ENTRY BARRIERS FOR KINGS GAMING ZONE

Possible barriers to entry are financial capital to make the game facilities, changing the culture of the people from traditional home video-gaming to public place video gaming. Kings gaming zone expects the conditions improve with time. Those are also reasons for nonexistence of similar places in GUSHAN E HADEED market. Including those two points, in the Risk Evaluation part, there are some other technical reasons making hard to overcome entry barriers in the first step. However, evaluations, surveys and researches provide positive risks rather than negative ones for the launch of kings gaming zone.

King’s Game Zone will be promoted in such a way as to maximize the efficiency of its advertising. King’s Game Zone provides customer -tracking software to monitor key demographics. This enables a more efficient targeting of the local market. The computerized tracking will enable management to generate mailing lists to its customer base or any part -- for example, customers who play an average of 6 or more times a month. Direct mail to these customers will prove to be extremely efficient revenue generators.

FACILITY DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

To enhance its entertainment value, the entire facility will be laid out and decorated in a manner consistent with this concept. The entertainment goal is to invite customers to suspend belief and imagine that while in the facility they are actually inside a “WOW” effect. Customers first enter the venue with the video games and filled with the sounds of teen music and games. The entrance also contains the counter, computer, cash register, and an overhead video screen. Secondly, in this business sector, environment, especially lightning and shading, is quite important. As seen in the pictures taken from different places, decoration focuses on individualistic experience. In other words, the way PCs located and darkness, due to creating an atmosphere of motivation and concentration, connect the player`s senses to the PC very well. On the contrary, instead of enhancing concentration through sharpening senses, Game Corner wants players to be fully satisfied through interactive playing with your mate. In that sense, lightning, shading and places of video-gaming machines and the sittings are in the priority of kings gaming zone care. Thirdly, they do not have any kind of subscription system and package plans. They work with an hour price schedules which are fixed. At that point, they do not provide a community culture with the emphasis on membership. Furthermore, more hours do not mean cheaper price. Our prices are 70 rupees per hour which is less than our competitor they are charging 80 rupees and We will charge fee according to time duration.
