Everybody knows about Vedic Astrology contains 12 signs, 12 houses, h ouses, nine planets act. But I would like to talk about its system o working. work ing. !et"s try to ind out how ho w Vedic Astrology works and how millions o human are attached with with this science. According to my view Vedic Astrology Astrology is a planetary planetar y system which penali#e and rewards or past lie karma"s o every single human on this earth. !et"s try to ind out how this system works, I you have done good $arma"s in your past lie , planets have to reward in your present lie and i you have done evil karma"s in your past lie, planetary system is going to penali#e or your karma"s in present lie. %his is the reason why millions o innocent people are having struggles and problems in their lie"s as they had done evil karma"s in their past lie. But in Vedic Astrology there is a ree will to improve their past lie karma"s ka rma"s in present lie and live a batter lie. &hen a native takes birth on this earth, the planetary system decides the whole lie o the native according to his'her karma"s in past lie. I the native dose pure karma"s in present lie he'she can minimi#e the struggle and problems rom his'her lie. All nine planets in Vedic Astrology has the dierent role to do in every horoscope o a native and decide the results to give in every ield o lie rom birth time to death time. (or e)ample i a *lanets take the duty in your horoscope to make you reach, he will have to do it as he is appointed to do it in your lie, +imilarly i any other planets is appointed to give you diseases in their period, he has to do it. +ometimes a planets who had given a lu)urious lie to native, also gives a chronic disease or any may be any other o ther problems regarding lie. Vedic Vedic Astrology is the system where you can ind out the horoscope with the details o all your planets whether they are going to punish you or going to reward or your good karma"s. Vedic Astrology also helps to repent o karma"s via doing good karma"s in your present lie. emedies o the planets in Vedic Astrology Astrology also is the simplest way to repent o o karma"s and live a batter lie. Astr Astrology ology and Karma are interrelated and hence one cannot canno t appreciate astrology unless understand the concept of Karma. Do we decide our parents or parents gave us life? Is this universe is ruled by laws (certain) or chance? Does soul have death? Does Newtons third law (for every action there will be e!ual and opposite reaction) hold good for life? All All these !uestions are interrelated with each other when we try to understand about the concept of Karma. Karma theory is the most important phenomenon without which no one can e"plain the disparities in human life. #niverse is operating in certain harmony$ nature is always wor%ing to restore e!uilibrium when the harmony is disturbed by mans act. &imilar to man with his action trying to bend a stic% and stic% will automatically regain to its original state. &o Karma neither rewards nor punishes' it only restores its lost harmony. It is the man who suffer or reoice based on his past acts. If someone do bodily or wordily harm to other' the person has to suffer for the same (If Newtons law for every action there will be e!ual and opposite reaction holds good for every obect then it should also be true for every thought and action). *ans present present e"istence is mere repetition of his previous e"istence co nnecting the past with the future. &o any action performed by b y man may fructify in a minute or day or a year or in a life or in
several life. +ollective actions performed by everyone will remain in the form of something unseen till the time of fructification (,efer -ungs collective unconscious for better understanding). According to %arma theory when one dies his soul which is enveloped in a subtle body and invested with sum of total good and bad actionsthoughts passes in to another physical body based on deeds done by him in his previous life and continues its ourney until emancipation. &o the statement parent gave us life becomes absurd. /rof. 0. &uryanarain ,ao observes this 10efore the birth of child' it has %arma to its credit and as a result of that %arma it ta%es birth in a particular family with particular surroundings' special physical features and noticeable mental inclination2. 3reat thin%ers' philosophers' composers and genius are repetition of other thin%ers' philosophers' composers who died on other stars or earth. Karma theory e"plains why there is significant difference between two people born on same time (4ven twin brothers who born and brought up in same environment). 5o conclude' one should not consider %arma as limiting factor of life instead should understand that in born intellectual are b ecause of this cause effect phenomenon. *any thin% that astrology and %arma limit us to believe in fatalism and leaves no space for growth. *y ne"t post will be around this and some of other misconception. 6
4lango Annamalai 7 *uthu 8iayan 4langoWhat is Karma? The best meaning of the word
which captures its essential spirit has been given by the great saint Paramhansha Yogananda. I am quoting
from
his
famous

!"utobiography
of
a
Yogi#.
$%ate& Karma& 'estiny( call it what you may( there is a law of )ustice which somehow but not by chance determines our race& our physical structure and some of our mental and emotional traits. Important thing to reali*e is that while we may not escape our own basic pattern we can wor in conformity with it. That is where free will comes in. We are free to choose and discriminate to the limits of our understanding& and as we rightly e+ercise our power of choice& our understanding grows. Then& once having chosen& a man has to accept the consequences of his choice and go on from there., 'oes it not sound very similar to -ewton#s third law of motion /To every action there
is
an
equal
and
opposite
reaction.$
The theory of Karma recognizes 3 kinds of Karma in our life. They are as follows: 1. “Sanchit Karma”( The good and bad Karma that we inherit from our past lives in this life. 2. “Praravdha Karma”( Th en e tb al a nc eofg oo da n db adKa r mawh i c hwei n he r i tf r o m pas tl i v esi nt hi sl i f ewhi c hwemus te x per i enc ei nt hi sl i f e. 3. “Kriyaman Karma”( The good and bad arma that we have earned from action in this life itself at any given point of time.
0ut of these 1 Karmas& a and c Karma types and their effects can be neutrali*ed by present good and bad armas in this life itself. 2ut the net effect of Praravdha Karmas whether it is good or bad have to be e+perienced in this life itself. This theory of Karma does not accept that our life is totally predestined& our free will and the choices that we mae at critical )unctures in our life also play an equally important part. 3ence it is not correct to say that whatever is supposed to happen is going to happen in our life and we are )ust hapless puppets dancing under the strings of our fate or destiny. If there was no choice and everything that happens in our life was predestined& then astrology or astrological predictions would have no relevance in human civili*ation.
The Horoscope: The position of planets in different signs and houses and the strengths of different planets and houses in our natal chart reflect the Praravdha Karma and the pre( destined events in our life. These are also called “Drirah” or %i+ed Karma or fi+ed results in our life& which an astrologer will analy*e from a person#s natal chart and can also predict when they are liely to happen
by
analy*ing
the
'asha
system.
2ut there are another ind of Karma& which consists of “Sanchit Karma” and “Kriyaman
Karma” These are called Adrirah Karma or probable Karma and they are not predetermined. "strologer can mae a forecast only by analy*ing the divisional charts computed from natal charts as well as by analy*ing the transit status of each planet and what relationship the transit planets are forming with the planets in the natal chart. This forecast can only tal about probable events and whether a particular planet is supporting or challenging. 3owever the actual event in a person#s life will really be based on the choices that a person maes based on his4her free will.
