Peralatan kayak Kayak Pemilihan jenis kayak bergantung kepada jenis aktiviti yang ingin dijalankan. kayak yang mempunyai kepanjangan yang sederhana antara 2 hingga 3 meter kebiasaanya digunakan untuk melakukan aktiviti berkayak yang lasak seperti white water kayak. Bagi melakukan aktiviti kayak yg lebih santai seperti berkayak di pantai atau tasik, t asik, kepanjangan kayak kebiasaanya melebihi 4-5 meter. Life jacket Apabila melakukan aktiviti berkayak,risiko yang perlu dihadapi adalah lemas kerana berkayak merupakan aktiviti air. Oleh itu, life jacket perlu dipakai oleh semua orang yg melakukan aktiviti ini. walaupun seseorang itu pandai berenang, namun life jacket perlu dipakai kerana ada kemungkinan ketika jatuh kedalam air,kaki peserta akan krem sehingga tidak mampu untuk berenang. Li fe jacket diperbuat daripada bahan yang kurang tumpat dari air dan ini penting bagi memastikan pemakainya terapung didalam air. Helmet Walaupun helmet tidak diperlukan untuk aktiviti berkayak yang santai, namun, helmat diperlukan ketika melakukan white water kayak. Terdapat 2 jenis helmet iaitu full cut kayak n half cut kayak. Penggunaannya penting bagi melindungi kepala. Bagi jenis full cut, ia mempunyai bahagian yang melindungi telinga dan pipi. Semntara jenis half cut tidak mempunyai bahagian yang melindingi pipi dan telinga. Paddle Paddle digunakan untuk menggerakkan kayak. P addler perlu menghayunkan paddle ke dalam air untuk menggerakkan kayak dan mengawalnya. Paddle juga mempunyai 2 bahagian iaitu pemegang (shaff) dan pisau (blade)

For vigorous activities, a type of kayak that will be used is like having a medium length of between two to three met ers, such as white water kayaking. For relaxing activities such as kayaking on the beach or lake, a type of kayak that will be used is like having a length more than four to five meters. Life jacket When doing kayaking, the risk to be faced is suffocated because kayaking is a water activity. Thus, the life jacket should be used by all persons who are doing these activities. Even the person can swim, but the life jacket also must to be used because there is possibility when the person fell into water, legs cramp so the participants will not ability to swim. Life jackets are made of materials that are less dense than water and essential to ensure that the wearer floats in water. Helmet Although helmets are not required for kayaking is relaxing, yet helmet is required during a white water kayaking. There are two types of helmet that is full cut kayak and half cut kayak. It is use essential to protect the head. For the full cut type, it has a section that protects the ears and cheeks While the kind of half cut, not protect the parts of the ears and cheeks. Paddle Paddle used to propel kayaking. Paddler is swinging the paddle into the water to propel kayaking and take control. Paddle also has two parts, a (shaff) and (blade). Objective
