This Method Statement is designed to give guidance for Installation Domestic water filtration system.

To install Domestic water filtration system – Carbon Activated filter and Multimedia filter.
1. Scaffolding + levated "latform ,Installed + -"erated by Certified "ersonal. %. /ilti Drill and cutting M+c ,!AT certified. #. !lumbing and electrical Tool 0o including S"irit 2evel( !i"e cutter. 3. Sanding "a"er and cleaning waste cloth. 4. !i"e wrenches.

I.
*iltration sets shall be carefully off$loaded at site storage yard using necessary man"ower + 0oom loader etc. in such a way that no damage is caused to these materials.
II.
Material will be ins"ected at off$loading "oint for any "hysical damage and com"ly to s"ecifications as "er the a""roved materials sheets.
III.
Materials shall be stored in a "lace free of water and ade7uately covered to avoid any 8ind of damages and to be "ro"erly identified.
I9.
*ilter vessels and accessories will be stored on a "ro"er "allet or wooden + card board boes. All sets to be covered "ro"erly to avoid the entry of foreign "articles.
9.
*ilter vessel and related fillings shall be shifted nearest to the wor8 "lace using # Ton truc8+vehicle.

Drawings for installation are a""roved ) co$ordinated with other services.
ii
2ocation + Area are cleared for commencement of installation of "i"ing.
iii !linth finishing and "i"ing to the system are in com"leted stage.

i.
-nly s"ecified and a""roved ma8e of :ater filter ,Multimedia *ilter and Carbon activated *ilter shall be used.
ii.
Installation shall be as "er a""roved drawings and as "er manufacturer;s recommendation.
iii.
All :ater filter ,Multimedia *ilter and Carbon activated *ilter shall be new + unused and ca"acity as indicated on the a""roved drawings and material submittal.

iv.
The :ater filter ,Multimedia *ilter and Carbon activated *ilter should be "laced in a well$ ventilated room to ensure ade7uate cooling of the system.
v.
The :ater filter ,Multimedia *ilter and Carbon activated *ilter does not re7uire a s"ecial foundation( but it should be "ositioned on a concrete "linth of min. 14
vi.
All structural wor8 re7uired must have been carried out accordance with the dimensions stated in the dimension table + general arrangement drawing. The concrete foundations shall have sufficient strength. Ma8e sure that the concrete foundation has set firmly before "lacing the unit on it. Its surface shall be truly hori=ontal and even.

b Install the valve head and it "anel in "osition on the *ilter vessel without any filling. nsure the "anel values are readable and free from obstruction. c
Start with "i"ing with filters in ) out connection and 0ac8 wash connection. nsure unions are "rovided for all connections and re7uired valves as "er manufacturer recommendation.
d -nce connections are made ensure sufficient su""ort to the connecting "i"es and valves so the valve head does not have load of same. e :ith valves closed "roceed for hydrostatic testing of the "i"e line to ensure no lea8s in the system. f
>ee" all the valves in shut condition remove the union 5oints and ma8e the 9alve head free from connections.
g ?nder the su"ervision of the *ilter su""lier sand filling to be done. h As "er instruction the fillings are done in levels+volume as mentioned by manufacturer. i
The *ilter "anel is connected with single "hase su""ly and to be switched on and commissioned by su""lier.

R)#8 a##e##ment: The ris8s involved during installation and testing shall be assessed and recorded through /a=ard identification ris8 assessment sheet and mitigation measure shall be strictly ensured at site.
